Lulu Davey nee Phillips was born at Fairmont NE June 6, 1879, thedaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Phillips. Her mother passed away whenshe was about 3 years old. She was adopted by her uncle and aunt, Danand Elva Phillips. Mr. and Mrs. Philllips and Lulu moved to Lincolnwhen she was nine years old, later moving back to Fairmont and then toOmaha where she finished her schooling. About 1908 she moved toBillings, Mt and took a position in a jewelry store staying with heruncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Houchin. In 1912 she marriedRobert Davey, who was employed by the Burlington railroad at SheridanWy in 1923 they moved to Livingston, Mt, where Mr. Davey tookemployment with the northern Pacific railroad. Here they lived untilthe time of her death, March 19, 1950. She leaves to mourn her passingher husband, Robert Davey; three cousins, Mrs. Louise Donisthorpe andGlen Houchin of Billings, Mt and Mrs. Grace Horn of Long Beach CA.Funeral services in Livingston and internment in Fairmont Cemetery.
