A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 1999, inFirst Baptist Church of Portland for Raymond Kenney "Ken" Ellison, whodied Feb. 4 at age 78. Mr. Ellison was born Sept. 23, 1920, inPortland. He graduated from Grant High School and attended OregonState College. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Heworked for Benjamin Franklin Savings & Loan Association for 38 years,retiring as an appraiser in 1985, and was a member of the church. Hemarried Barbara Morgan in 1954; she died in 1975. Survivors includehis adopted daughter, Jean Hand of Wilsonville, and threegrandchildren. Private interment will be in River View Cemetery. Thefamily suggests remembrances to the American Arthritis Foundation, theAmerican Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangementsare by Holman's Funeral Service.
