L. Hadden STEWART, 71, 531 West Ninth St., died Thursday at hisresidence. He had been in failing health. He was born in Roachdale,to Lewis H. and Helen FORD STEWART. He lived most of his life inFulton County. He owned Stewart Tax Service and was a former FultonCounty Republican Precinct Committeeman. He served in the U.S. Armyduring the Korean War. Surviving are four sons, William F. [STEWART],Marion; Robert H. [STEWART], Shelbyville; Stephen D [STEWART], Muncie,and Jonathan E. [STEWART], Pendleton; one adopted son, Michael A.[STEWART], Anderson, and five grandchildren. Preceding in death wereone son, Jeffrey A. [STEWART], who died in 1964, and one brother,James R. [STEWART], who died in 1976. Services will be at 2 p.m.Tuesday at Zimmermn Family Funeral Home, with the Rev. DonaldBRENNEMAN officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F.Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by theRochester American Legion and VFW posts. Friends may call from noonto 2 p.m Tuesday.
