John was a business man in Logansport, IN. He then attended McCormickand Lane Theological Seminary and was ordained a Presbyterian ministerin 1880. He served in Glidden, IA., Indianapolis, Grandhaven, MI.,Redwing, MN., and Sullivan, IN. and eventually taught at The BibleInstitute of Los Angeles.
