James R. STEWART, 45, died Tuesday at his home, 521 Pontiac street.
Born Jan. 3, 1931, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Lewis and HelenFORD STEWART. He had resided in this city since his retirement fromthe U.S. Navy in 1974 after 23 years' service. Mr. Stewart was a 1949graduate of Rochester high school and a member of the American Legionand Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are the mother, of Rochester, and a brother, L. HaddenSTEWART, Bremen. Graveside rites will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at theI.O.O.F. cemetery here with the Rev. David HEYWARD officiating. TheAmerican Legion and VFW posts of Rochester will conduct militaryhonors. Zimmerman Brothers funeral home is in charge of arrangements.There will be no visiting hours and the family requests that memorialsother than flowers be made to the Fulton County Library.
