March 1888 obituary from the Logansport, Indiana Pharos newspapersays:
Mr. EN Talbott received a telegram this morning, announcing the deathin Southern Indiana of Mrs. Fannie Webber, grandmother of Mrs.Talbott. The remains were brought to this city this afternoon. Thefuneral will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon rom Mr. Talbott'sresidence on East High Street, Rev. Putnam officiating. The deceasedresided in Logansport for a time some years ago. She was an Englishlady, and was christened and married in Westminster Abbey. Herhusband, the late Captain Nathaniel Webber, followed the sea for 50years, and the deceased accompanied him on many of his voyages todifferent parts of the world. She was 94 years old.

Mr. E. N. Talbott received a dispatch Tuesday from Clinton. Indiana,announcing the death of Mrs. Talbott's mother, Mrs. Fannie Webber. Theremains will be forwarded to this city to-day from Clinton via theLogansport and Terre Haute road, and will arrive here at noon,accompanied by a number of relatives and friends. There will be abrief funeral service held
at the residence of E. N. Talbott, corner of Market and Eleventhstreets, this afternoon, at 5 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. E. Loucks,after which burial in Mt. Hope cemetery will take place. The friendsof the family are invited to attend.
