A. TENNEY FORD, 74, of Grants Pass, Ore., formerly of St. Petersburg,died Aug. 28 at Regency Care Center. A native of Salem, Mass., hemoved to this area in 1925, and moved to Grants Pass upon retirement.He was a former teacher, a retired U.S. Navy commander and a World WarII veteran. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy B.; a son, Alan Tenneyof San Rafael, Calif.; two daughters, Melanie F. Michaels of Denverand Carol F. Guthrie of Clayton, N.C.; his mother, Ruth G. of St.Petersburg; a brother, A. Halsey of St. Petersburg; and twograndchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes, Ninth Street Chapel,St. Petersburg.
