ALBERT FORD WHATLEY On April 13, 2007 a great Husband, Dad,Grandfather, and Fisherman departed this life. Ford's pain is finallygone and he is now fighting with that dream fish. His legs are steady,his skilled arms are pulling the rod back, his hands are workingsmoothly on the reel crank and his neck and legs are not hurting fromthe effort. He is now able to effortlessly dance with his beloved wifeand walk with friends and relatives that have already gone before him.We are going to miss his great jokes, laughter, all his wonderful"finds" from his grocery store adventures and a fantastic fishingbuddy. He loved his friends so much that he never made a bet in whichhe intended to win from them more than he gave back in return. Ford issurvived by his four children; Kathy Kettle, Bill Whatley, StephenWhatley and Nancy Criss and nine grandchildren and numerousgreat-grandchildren. He proudly defended his country during World WarII and was a Purple Heart recipient. We all love you and will missyou. Goodbye for now and rest in peace. A Memorial Service will beheld Sunday April 22, 2007 at 12:00 P.M. at Dignity Memorial Bay AreaChapel in League City the family will receive friends starting at11:30 A.M. for a time of reflection on Ford's life.
